The prices payable for the items you order are those displayed on this website on the date you place your order, inclusive of VAT, but excluding delivery charges.
Delivery charges will be billed at the rates indicated on this website on the date you place your order, calculated notably in function of the size of the order and the delivery method.
Once Upon a Trip Ltd reserves the right to modify its prices and delivery charges at any time and to cancel a contract in case of writing, printing or calculation errors.
Established prices include VAT at the legal rate. There will not be granted any discounts unless prior agreement between the parties.
Payments for orders can be made through credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express), Bank Transfer, Multibanco/ MB Way (restricted to portuguese bank clients)
Unless expressly agreed, any complaint presented by the client does not give him the right to suspend or defer a portion or all the payment due or to operate any compensation to his benefit.
Once Upon a Trip Ltd reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of late payment or internal decision until the full settlement of the outstanding amount in debit
In case of late payment shall accrue interest will be apply automatically at the legal rate plus 5% interest rate, by way of penalty clause, upon the value of invoices not paid on maturity.
PayPal is used exclusively for online purchases. With a PayPal account you can choose to pay with your credit card, bank account or with your PayPal account balance on any purchase. If you choose this payment method, at the end of the order choose “PayPal”. You will be redirected to the PayPal page where you must authenticate and validate the payment. After that you will return to the payment page of the online store Once Upon a Trip to make the purchase.
If you choose to pay your orders by credit card, you can do so in complete safety because, in compliance with the safety rules issued by VISA International and Europay / Mastercard International, since 1 April 2001 all applications for authorization transactions can only be processed by Redunicre provided that the security code (CVV2 / CVC2) of the respective card is included in the supplied elements.
The security code is a three-digit number printed on the back of the card after the number on the right side of the signature panel of all VISA and Europay cards
To make it easier for you to complete future orders, your credit card details may be saved and associated with your account in an encrypted form.
In case of delay in payment, you will be charged with interest on the outstanding balance and of any administrative and legal costs occurred.
Once Upon a Trip Ltd reserves the right to refuse any new order until full settlement of the balance due.
All orders confirmed by Once Upon a Trip Ltd will be delivered to the delivery address you specify when placing your order.
Once Upon a Trip Ltd does its utmost to ensure the deliveries are delivered maximum 15 working days.
The shipping costs associated with your order will be invoiced by order, i.e. if you order more than one item, you will only pay once for the shipping costs and as long as the order doesn’t exceed the 2kg weight recommended. Once Upon a Trip Ltd reserves the right to split delivery of the order, for example, if a part of the order is delayed or not available. In case we proceed to the division of the order, the customer will be notified, by e-mail, of our intention. For this purpose we will use the email address provided by the customer at the time of purchase.
The shipping costs are shown in the following table and refer to Portugal, Madeira, Azores, Europe and Rest of the world.
Portugal and Archipelagos – € 5.00
Europe – € 15.00 (up to 2kg)
Rest of the world – € 23.00 (up to 2 kg)
Shipping is done through CTT. If you do not receive your order within 15 days of sending it, you must notify us without failure within a maximum of 30 days. In cases where the claim is not made within the above mentioned deadlines, Once Upon a Trip Ltd is not responsible for your order.
Verification of Merchandise
It is your responsibility to verify the quantity and condition of the merchandise upon delivery.
In case you observe damage or missing items, you must notify and file claim with the carrier and inform Once Upon a Trip Ltd within 7 days after the delivery. Once Upon a Trip shall in such case provide you with identical replacement merchandise.
The products ordered will be delivered to the address indicated by the customer, and shipping costs will be supported by the customer.
The ordered goods will be delivered within the 15 working days via a service provider acting on behalf of Once Upon a Trip Ltd designated for that purpose.
It is for the customer to verify the quantity and condition of the goods when the respective delivery.
In case the client detect damage or missing items, must notify and file complaints with Once Upon a Trip Ltd in the following 7 days. In such case, Once Upon a Trip Ltd will provide you with identical replacement merchandise.
The consumer has the right of withdrawal from this contract within 14 calendar days, without giving any reason.
The period for exercising the right of withdrawal shall expire 14 days from the day on which the costumer acquires, or a third party designated by him, other than the carrier, the physical possession of the property.
In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must communicate by email to firstname.lastname@example.org expressing the decision to terminate this contract by a clear statement.
In order for the period of withdrawal to be respected, the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal can be sent before the end of the withdrawal period.
Upon termination of this contract, you will be refunded all payments made, excluding the cost of delivery without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of its decision to terminate this contract.
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which the resolution of freedom of contract is informed. It is considered that the deadline is met if you return the goods before the deadline of 14 days. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
It will only be responsible for the depreciation of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods only.

Limitation of Liability
The photographs and texts illustrating and describing the products on this website are non-contractual and for information purposes alone. Once Upon a Trip Ltd shall not be liable in case of errors or omissions in the photographs or texts displayed on this website.
Once Upon a Trip Ltd will make every reasonable effort to fulfil its obligations. However, Once Upon a Trip Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Such circumstances include strikes, wars, natural catastrophes or any others that make impracticable the production, transportation or delivery of products.
In the event of delay, Once Upon a Trip Ltd will perform its obligations as soon as reasonably possible, and it reserves the right to allocate any remaining product supply among customers in a fair and reasonable manner.
